Deuteronomy is the 5th book in the Bible and the 5th book in the Old Testament. It known as the 5th book of Moses, containing the Laws and instruction given to him by the Lord. Deuteronomy was written by Moses. Deuteronomy is also referred to as the 1st book of Deuteronomistic History, containing the story of Israel, from the period of their conquest of Canaan through to Babylonian exile.
